Demonstrator Lab is showcasing and celebrating the new generation of entrepreneurial students and researchers of the VU on May 7th, during the fourth edition of Demonstrator Lab’s Summer Pitch Event. Are you ready to meet them?
Around 60 new projects have entered the Demonstrator Lab since the Summer Pitch Event last year and these start-ups will have the opportunity to take the stage to pitch their start-up idea in a pre-final round. Only six start-up projects will go through to the final pitch event and have a chance of winning one of three €1000,- vouchers.
The jury will be composed of four esteemed partners of the VU entrepreneurial ecosystem.
To judge the pre-final rounds a panel has been assembled of Demonstrator Lab coaches and former winners of the Summer Pitch Event.

Networking Drinks – The DLAB afterparty
You are welcome to congratulate the winners of the Summer Pitch Event straight after the final, during the Networking Drinks starting 5:30 PM at the StartHub on the VU Campus square. All of the participating start-up projects will be there, ready to share and show more of their start-up product or service they’ve been developing.
Enjoy freshly baked fries, bites, beers, prosecco, nice tunes and good conversation. Plug into the entrepreneurial spirit of the VU! We’ll be happy to treat you to some pizza if you stay around long enough.

Since the first and second edition of the Summer Pitch Event turned out to be a great success, this years’ edition we will take it a step further to make it an even more memorable event. Your great spirit will help us achieve this!
Spots to the final pitch event are limited so registration is necessary. Tickets might sell out but in any case, we would love for you to come toast with us afterwards at the StartHub.

Summer Pitch Winners 2023, 2024 and 2025

Winners of the 2024 edition are Readler, MedAssist and Mycofarming plus an audience award for Beyond Bounds.
Winners of the 2023 edition are Madglove, Pulse Sport and VU AMS.
All of them are still highly valued members of the Demonstrator Lab community, passing on their experience to peer projects.
Some have taken the next step in the VU Entrepreneurship ecosystem and have moved their office to the VU StartHub. We would like to use this occasion to express our pride of how far all of these projects have come and we are excited to graduate more excellent start-up projects of the Demonstrator Lab in the future.
